About me

Welcome to my website! I am currently a post doctoral fellow at the Goodman Cancer Research Centre in McGill University.
I received my Ph.D. in June 2016 from the University of Toronto, where I was supervised by Prof. Charlie Boone and Prof. Brenda Andrews. As a doctoral student I was interested in exploring functional connections between genes on a global level. I studied the relationship between genotype and phenotype by mapping and characterizing complex interactions among three genes. Using the budding yeast I was able to dissect mechanisms of paralog divergence and the global architecture of the triple mutant genetic interaction space.
For my post doctoral work in Prof. Morag Park's laboratory I am interested in translating my knowledge to a human model and using functional genomics approaches involving CRISPR to study how combinatorial perturbations promote tumorigenesis.
